This is a cedar cross I made for my dad.

Like traditional Celtic stone crosses, this cross tells a story through imagery. On the left and right side of Christ are scenes of the parting of the Red Sea and the calming of the Sea of Galilee, associating the power of Christ with the power of the God of Moses. The scenes representing the Passover, manna from heaven, and the Eucharist depict the Eucharist as the Passover meal of the Church, through which we participate in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
